Welcome to our kitchen!
"My name is Judy, and I have been a “Vermonter by choice” for the last 14 years, after having relocated to Brandon from Boston after over 30 years. In Boston I owned and ran a wholesale specialty dessert company, Sweet Endings, from 1985 through 2002.
We supplied high-end cakes, cheesecakes, pies and tarts, pastries, cookies and bars to Boston area restaurants, caterers, specialty food, cheese, and coffee shops, farm stands, and also had large accounts with Starbucks and Trader Joe’s.
My business experience and love of baking and food proved to be a good fit for inn-keeping, and since then I have become the Innkeeper for "The Inn on Park Street" in beautiful Downtown Brandon, Vermont.
In Vermont I soon learned that choosing the town of Brandon was a very fortunate decision as I embarked on a new venture. Brandon has brought me back to my small-town Wisconsin roots, and the friendships and sense of community I have here are priceless.
This is a very special small town and I have found friends and a lifestyle I treasure.
When you come and spend even a little time here you too will sense the very wonderful qualities of this small village."

"My name is Lyn, and while I’m not originally from Vermont, I am fortunate to have grown up on a farm and be married to a Vermonter. We moved to Vermont from England in 2015, having bought a farm in Brandon I first saw in 1990. We have been fixing up buildings, planting, and working on our beautiful property ever since.
We farm organically, and currently produce berries, flowers, greens, hay, herbs, honey and perennial plants. In order to make the most of this idyllic Vermont lifestyle, and use the bounty of our land, I also licensed my kitchen so I can sell baked goods.
I’ve been working for Vermont Farm Bureau, which has introduced me to wonderful farmers from all over Vermont. Through our cooking programs, I’ll have the opportunity to introduce you to some of our local farmers and the great food they produce. I’m a connector so I’m hoping that you’ll leave here with some new favorite foods and drink, and perhaps even have made a new friend or two.
In addition to cooking and farming, we also operate The Swallow’s Nest Guesthouse. The Swallow's Nest is a luxuriously converted out building, on our 1200-acre organic farm, that offers some of the most breathtaking views of the Green Mountains possible. It’s a perfect place for Birdwatching, writing, hiking, boating on Lake Dunmore, or just enjoying the splendor of the Vermont environment.
